LEADING MANUFACTURER OF XENON FLASHLAMPS
Amglo’s Xenon lamp Division is located in Bensenville, Illinois just 10 minutes from O’Hare Airport in Chicago. Amglo Kemlite has over 1,600 active flashlamp designs ranging from 1 - 2 Watts to 1800 Watts in *linear flashlamps*, *circular*r, *helical* and *u-bend*. Common envelope materials used to manufacture xenon lamps are borosilicate, quartz, and UV blocking cerium-doped quartz. Amglo Kemlite Laboratories manufactures its own proprietary cathodes, which are pressed, sintered and processed in its own facility. Control over this very important technology allows Amglo to maintain very tight manufacturing tolerances in production while providing rapid engineering prototypes for its customers.
In recent years many of Amglo's low powered borosilicate lamps are now manufactured at its' sister factory - Amglo Bravo in Juarez, Mexico. This facility offers a value added service to its customer finishing its lamps in completed assemblies. Amglo Kemlite's experienced quality team conducts monthly audits on-site at Bravo, yet all finished product is inspected and warehoused at the Bensenville (U.S.A.) facility ensuring that customers receive only the highest quality product.
